I'm a follower and I do love the photographs you've taken. However that last comment regarding the other anon to "grow a pair" is not cool. Basically you're saying that the only way for a person to be brave is to grow a pair of testicles. Which however, is the most sensitive part of a mans body. Not the derived force of a Humans courage. I say human because you have no specific knowledge of knowing which gender the anon is, offending the opposite gender/striping away their masculinity.

A

Whoaaa it’s a figure of speech bro, it’s not meant to be at all literal, when I wrote it I wasn’t like, okay how can I take away this persons manhood? Gimmie a break. And in all honesty does it take courage to go into Oakland? I mean I’m no hero, but I lurk there quite often. I even have wonderful friends and family for that matter who happen to live there, I’ve had sentimental memories wandering around Oakland’s streets with my loved ones. I find it insulting that anybody could presume that majority of Oakland’s population is to be feared. So yeah, grow a pair. It doesn’t take any amount of courage to go into any city, this isn’t some sort of war zone we’re talking about. Nobody is going to shoot you for target practice. Oakland is a neighborhood filled with primarily normal people that happens to have a couple seedy pockets. It’s distasteful to think otherwise.

Do you usually take photographs by yourself? I always wanted to go in the Oakland area but feel unsafe.

A

I usually roll with my imaginary girlfriend. I hate to say it but grow a pair, Oakland ain’t that bad, use caution and just don’t ever go to ill advised areas such as seminary and you’ll be fine.
